PesCo

What sparked this idea?

More than once, we’ve found ourselves struggling to find information in an unfamiliar fishing spot—and for someone coming from out of town, it’s even more complicated! Like that time when Alberto, on vacation in Puglia, had no idea where to launch his dinghy, what the best spots were, or where to find bait and lures. From that little adventure (and a few headaches), the idea for PesCo was born: to better connect the fishing community and make everything easier! 🎣🚀

Road

Here we are in Venice, presenting our startup at the prestigious MIT in Boston.

What have we done?

We’ve built the foundation of an online community—a marketplace where people can share their knowledge and experience. Most importantly, it’s a meeting point between tourists and locals who want to share their passion and help others discover aquatic ecosystems.

What do we want to achieve?

There’s still a lot of confusion and misunderstanding around the sport of fishing and its amateur and professional markets. Through conversations with leading organizations in the sustainability sector, we realized we can foster environmental awareness through the experiences offered by PesCo. Become part of the innovation process—join the PesCo community!

Who is it for?

PesCo is a platform not just for fishing lovers, but for anyone curious to explore local culture, gastronomy, or simply discover the territory from a different point of view… through the eyes of a fisher who loves their sport and lives every moment in their own unique way.
